Hawkins proudly sponsored the London Onshore Energy Conference again last month. Several members of the Hawkins’ power team (Sam A’Court, Stephen Rowbotham, Dr Nick Wright, and Nick Ashby) were in attendance, with Forensic Electrical Engineer Ben Adams delivering a presentation on Electrical Aspects of the Energy Transition.
Ben outlined how new and emerging technology can provide solutions to support the energy transition. He took the audience on a journey through traditional power plants and previous technologies used, how energy demand has increased of late, and the future transition to renewable energy. Ben discussed in detail the pros and cons of renewable energy when compared to other renewable outputs, as well as more traditional methods, and included case studies highlighting the impact on society when electrical power systems fail.
Ben Adams presents and is joined by, Sam A’Court, Nick Ashby, Nick Wright, and Stephen Rowbotham at Onshore Energy Conference 2023.
We look forward to attending OEC24 and seeing many familiar faces again next year.
