After graduating in applied physics Damian joined Kent Police. He has been attending and investigating collisions for 30 years. He served as a Police Officer for over 18 years with the Kent Police. His first twelve years in Kent Police were spent mostly in response and traffic roles, with his last six years in the role of Forensic Collision Investigator, inspecting, investigating and reconstructing fatal and serious injury accidents.

Qualified to ride motorcycles and drive category C Large Goods Vehicles through the DSA, Damian was also qualified as a Police Class 1 driver and in Tactical Pursuit and Containment (TPAC). He regularly tows trailers and caravans.

Since joining Hawkins in June 2007, Damian has continued to investigate all aspects of road traffic collisions, both in respect of Criminal and Civil proceedings.

Damian is experienced in the legal process, having produced reports which have been used in many Court proceedings. He has given evidence in the capacities of Expert witness in The High Court, Coroner’s, Crown, Magistrates and County Court on numerous occasions. Notable cases include:

Damian is a Principal Associate based in the Reigate office.
