Henry holds a Masters of Engineering degree (MEng) from the University of Southampton and is an associate member of the Institute of Acoustics (AMIOA).

Henry graduated from the University of Southampton in 2021 with an Upper second-class MEng degree in Acoustical Engineering. During this time, he undertook a 2-month placement as a noise and vibration intern at Woods in Glasgow which involved surveying road traffic noise as well as modelling windfarm noise propagation.

After graduating, he joined the Cole Jarman team as a Graduate Consultant. Specialising in environmental and building acoustics, this small Acoustical Consultancy provided expert training and guidance from their experienced team which enabled him to be accepted into the Institute of Acoustics as an Associate Member. He worked on varied projects from plant noise emissions for planning, to acoustic design of housing developments, schools, prisons, hospitals, distribution centres and an airport terminal. His work involved performing attended and unattended noise surveys, sound insulation testing, desktop design on RIBA stages 3-4, as well as PAVA design using modelling software. During this time, the company was acquired by RSK Acoustics. Henry worked at Cole Jarman/RSK Acoustics for just under 2 years.

In 2022, Henry joined GL Hearn in London as an Acoustical Consultant, working predominantly on building and architectural acoustics design of schools and offices.

Henry joined Hawkins in 2023 and he is an Acoustical Consultant in our London office.
