Hawkins’ Managing Director, Dr Andrew Moncrieff, an accomplished Forensic Geologist, will be featured on a new series by BBC One. Expert Witness is a dramatic true crime documentary series with 15 episodes. Dr Moncrieff’s work will be part of Episode 9: “Cerium and CCTV”, which airs Thursday 4th November, as well as Episode 12: “Pollen, Chalk and DNA”, which airs Tuesday 9th November.
The BBC iplayer website refers to expert witnesses as, “the unsung heroes” of the complex cases covered in these programmes. The Hawkins team is very proud to see Dr Moncrieff’s work used in obtaining convictions and furthering justice, and hope the programme shines a spotlight on the valuable work that forensic investigators do.
