Chartered Architect, Niralee Casson, has been featured in FOIL’s new quarterly publication the Voice of FOIL.
Niralee shared her experience as a forensic architect, the types of claims she has investigated, and the advice that she would provide to professional indemnity insurers.
Niralee is a Chartered Architect with over 10 years of construction industry experience and has been appointed as an architect expert witness on a variety of technical issues, and supported the named expert on numerous occasions. She specialises in the forensic investigation of building defects, including fire safety and basement waterproofing. She has undertaken site investigations, reviewed other expert’s reports, re-constructed building models from architectural drawings, and produced multiple expert reports for disputed claims. Niralee is registered with the Architect’s Registration Board (ARB), is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), and was elected to the RIBA council in 2023, representing London members.
