Congratulations to Principal Associate, Dr John Camplin, who recently celebrated his 20th anniversary at Hawkins.
Since joining Hawkins in 2005, John has completed over 500 investigations across the UK on a broad range of incidents including road traffic accidents, escapes of water, fire, and personal injuries. After establishing himself in the field of fire investigation, John expanded his capabilities to forensic engineering investigations including mechanical vibration, roller coasters and fairground equipment, and semi-conductor engineering. John also has expertise in cryogenics, process engineering, vacuum engineering, optics and surface chemistry.
John has a special interest in fairground equipment, head protection and the biomechanics of the human body. He has presented a webinar on the topic of body protection for the motorcycle & bicycle rider and written an article highlighting safety considerations in fairground rides.
