Hawkins Achieves both Cyber Essentials Plus and a RoSPA Health and Safety Gold Medal Award

Hawkins has recently achieved the Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

Cyber Essentials is an effective, government-backed scheme aimed at helping to protect our organisation against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks. This is important as vulnerability to these types of attacks can mark us out as target for more in-depth unwanted attention from cyber criminals and others.

There are two levels of certification:

We are proud to confirm that we have achieved the higher level of accreditation of Cyber Essentials Plus as part of our ongoing approach to ensure we maintain the highest standards of security across our business.

We are also pleased to announce that Hawkins has now been awarded the RoSPA Gold Medal Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, in recognition of achieving a level of RoSPA Gold for 5 consecutive years.

Hawkins’ Health & Safety Director Andy Bryce says, “It does demonstrate a very high level of performance and that, as they say, is no accident. It takes a lot of work each year to prepare our submission and to prove that we do what we say we do. But most importantly, none of it would be possible without the diligence of all of us to work safely every day, look out for our colleagues, and to build on our success.”

Hawkins is committed to the ongoing health, safety and security of our people, our partners and our business.
