Hawkins is delighted to have been awarded the RoSPA Gold Medal Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents for the sixth consecutive year.
The RoSPA Gold Medal is awarded to those who have achieved a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
Hawkins’ Health & Safety Manager Stuart Mitchell says, “Accidents at work and work-related ill health don’t just have huge financial implications or cause major disruption – they significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. Hawkins values our employees’ health and well-being which makes good safety measures so important to us. Achieving this award takes a combined effort from all employees across the business and it is a credit to everybody that we continue to receive this award each year.“
