Hawkins Opens Two Offices on the Island of Ireland

Hawkins Belfast and Dublin Announcement

Hawkins is delighted to announce the opening of two new offices, one in Dublin and one in Belfast, to strengthen our presence and service offering in the region. For over four decades Hawkins has serviced both sides of the border from our existing offices and the decision reflects strong growth in demand from these markets.

Our teams have long-standing relationships with clients in these cities and our new locations will mean that we are well placed to meet the needs of both new and existing clients.

Alongside the new premises, we welcome Jason Atkinson to our team. Jason joins us as an Associate in the Dublin office. Jason graduated from University College Dublin with a First-Class Honours in Material Science and Engineering. His research was on the development and optimisation of projection stereolithography additive manufacturing. His work focused on establishing a relationship between process parameters, material structure, and mechanical properties, for this manufacturing process. Jason also brings experience as a Manufacturing Engineer where he was responsible for the support of production through problem-solving and fault-finding on various manufacturing processes, including laser welding, laser cutting, laser marking, linishing and electro polishing. This role included responsibility for optimising production through cost saving and efficiency improvement projects.

Managing Director, Andrew Prickett, said, “This is an exciting time for Hawkins. Establishing a permanent presence in both Belfast and Dublin is an indication of our dedication and commitment to strengthening the relationships that we have with our clients on the island of Ireland. We are also delighted to welcome Jason to the team. The expertise he brings compliments our current skills and expertise, enhancing our commitment to deliver a world leading customer experience.”

Glasgow Regional Manager, Jon Watkins will expand his role to include our Belfast office and John Holland has been appointed as Regional Manager for Dublin.
