We are delighted to welcome, Chartered Architect, Paul McCaughran, to our growing Belfast office.

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, after graduating with a BA Honours in Architectural Studies.

After his studies, Paul took his professional practice exam at Queen’s University Belfast whilst working at Kennedy Fitzgerald & Associates. He became a chartered architect in 2005 working on projects including leisure centres, hotels, and commercial and retail buildings. After relocating to London, he began working on flagship retail and industrial-scale projects in the aviation, civic, residential and community sphere. He is experienced in all aspects of a project, with a particular focus on the technical stages, through to leading teams and delivery onsite.

More recently, Paul carried out design coordination with other disciplines using Building Information Modelling (BIM). Whilst working for the Education Authority in Northern Ireland, as a Project Manager, Paul was a client representative to external consultants, gaining an NEC Project Manager’s accreditation. Here, Paul assisted with the delivery of schools and managed integrated consultant teams.

Paul brings over 20 years of construction industry experience and has worked on projects in Southeast England, London, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. He is registered with the Architect’s Registration Board (ARB), and has been a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) since 2005. In 2021, he became a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI).

It is a pleasure to welcome Paul to the business and we look forward to working with him.
