It is with great pleasure that we welcome Tim Hodson to our Bristol office. Tim is a Chartered Structural Engineer and Incorporated Civil Engineer with more than 15 years of experience working in both the UK and abroad.

After studying Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Tim began working as a Graduate Structural Engineer specialising in load-bearing light gauge steel structures. Tim then moved to JNP Group Consulting Engineers where he worked as a Structural Engineer. During this time, Tim gained experience in load-bearing masonry, steel structures, and reinforced concrete, for use in both refurbishments and new-build constructions.

Tim then moved to Dubai where he worked for a light gauge steel frame manufacturer and contractor, as Head of Engineering. He led the design and delivery of a large school in Abu Dhabi, giving him valuable experience in manufacturing and site supervision.

On his return to the UK, he joined Jubb Consulting Engineers and led the design and delivery of several large-scale projects including, a 23-storey tower in Portsmouth and a 16-storey tower in Birmingham. Whilst at Jubb, Tim became an Incorporated Civil Engineer and Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Following this, Tim became Director at Cambria Consulting Engineers and was responsible for all project delivery, which included steel frame schools and concrete frame residential developments, with construction values up to £55m. In 2019 Tim became a Chartered Structural Engineer, through the Institution of Structural Engineers.

We are delighted to have Tim on board.
