We are delighted to announce that Chartered Engineer, Patrick Walsh, has joined our expanding team in Hong Kong.
Patrick graduated from the University of Technology in Sydney with a degree in Civil Engineering. He began his career at WSP Hong Kong where he gained experience designing and analysing reinforced concrete high-rise towers and long-span cantilever structures. During this time, he also completed a 6-month secondment to Hip Hing, acquiring practical knowledge in temporary works design and construction sequencing.
In 2021, Patrick joined Prime Consulting Engineers, broadening his structural skillset and knowledge, by leading numerous high-end retail projects in Hong Kong, China, and overseas. During this time, he became a Chartered Engineer in the UK and Australia and was promoted to Principal Engineer.
Patrick brings a range of practical experience, from high-rise reinforced concrete structures to intricate and complex stainless steel design. He has worked as an on-site resident engineer on major developments and collaborated with high-end brands from the early concept stage to execution. Patrick has also had his research published in the Australian Journal of Structural Engineering. He joins our team of civil and structural engineers and strengthens our structural engineering capabilities in Greater China and Asia.Â
