We are delighted to welcome Aaron Edwards to our expanding London team.
After completing his degree in Forensic Investigation, Aaron began his career as an examiner in traditional crime scene laboratories, where he conducted blood pattern analysis, body fluid searching, DNA swabbing, and fibre examination. He then transitioned to a role as a Forensic Specialist at British American Tobacco’s Anti Illicit Trade Laboratory, where he applied forensic ballistic techniques in the tracking of counterfeit tobacco products across the globe.
Aaron then spent several years as a Scientific Advisor to the London Fire Brigade. In this role, he conducted laboratory and fire scene investigations across various incidents, ranging from small house fires to large warehouse blazes. During this time, Aaron advised the Fire Brigade on operational hazardous materials incidents, both at the scene and remotely. He has also delivered training courses to the London Fire Brigade on subjects ranging from fire investigation to the dangers of hazardous materials.
Following this, Aaron became a forensic expert, investigating the cause and circumstances of fire and explosions involving domestic residences, retail, agricultural and industrial premises. Having joined Hawkins as a fire and explosions investigator, Aaron continues to investigate a broad range of incidents across the UK.
It is a pleasure to have Aaron on board.
