Hawkins is delighted to welcome our new Health and Safety Manager, Stuart Mitchell, who will be located in our Bristol office. Stuart joins Hawkins with 20 years’ experience in the field of safety and risk management consulting. Stuart has a NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and a DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) certification in gas and liquid training.
Stuart began his career in 2001 developing on-the-job risk and safety training, while assisting senior consultants at AEA Technology. His most recent role was with WT Consultancy, where he worked with a broad range of clients across various sectors including: agriculture, construction, engineering and hospitality.
Stuart brings a thorough knowledge of UK H&S regulations, as well as expertise in auditing of H&S management systems, fire risk assessments, and provision of specialist training,
Stuart will be a great asset to the company, bringing a fresh perspective to our risk management in all areas of the business including lab examinations and on-site investigations, as well as maintaining Hawkins’ RoSPA Gold safety culture.
