Last week, materials expert Philippa Moore guest lectured to students on Cranfield University’s Masters in Forensic Engineering course.
Philippa’s lecture on ‘materials science for fire investigation’ included scientific principles and observations such as material’s behaviour with heat, contact alloying, arc mapping, glass fracture, corrosion, and laboratory analysis tools.
Philippa has published over 45 conference and journal papers on her academic research. An inspirational and respected technical expert, she is an enthusiastic and experienced presenter to both technical and non-specialist audiences on topics related to weld engineering, metallurgy, failure modes, and structural integrity.
